Hey guys. I'm sorry for the really late update! So many things have happened here, I just didn't have enough time (or willpower) to work on this site. But enough with the excuses, ya? I'm finally here and let's hope that it stays that way. Before we continue tho, I'd like to take this time to dedicate this wonderful picture to those who have waited for so long...
I named this guy Happy McCute. Now you might think that Happy is just another sketch that plays no important part on this site. But upon closer inspection, he actually does.
Happy is the first! I can't believe it took me till February to draw something up for this year. Of course, I did draw other stuff for projects or probably did some doodles for friends,
but Happy marks the first DaimatioN drawing of 2007. Cheers to you, Happy! What a way to start the year.
Well, I've been in Malaysia for more than 3 months now. Only 3 months? Hurrmmm... it feels like so much more longer than that. Anway, time to recap! So far I've...
- spent way too much time in the office doing freelance work (where's my sleep?)
- discarded my pure English-speaking dialect altogether (Manglish is back for now!)
- bought too many books than I should (haven't read any of them yet)
- watched way too much anime than my brain could handle (thanks to my "japan freaks" bro and couz :P)
- had someone visited me which brought back old forgotten emotions (is that a good thing?)
- learnt and played Mahjong like hell (never expected that in a million years)
- gone driving-spree like crazy (didn't get to drive in UK for a full year. Time to make up for all the loss times!)
- taken up drumming lessons again (the only thing that keeps me alive these days)
- most importantly, I get to play with my 2 favourite cats again. Twisty and Sishiro! Woot woot! Cats are kyoot!
I guess that pretty much summed up my life here so far. As for now, I have a couple of collaborative projects in the making, so hopefully I'll be able to produce a new awesome animation for 2007 (slapped with a patented DaimatioN Seal of Quality™). Please wait for it eagerly!
