Hello people! I've reached Malaysia safely and... -GRAGH WHY ISSIT SO HOT HERE!? Jokes aside, things have been great so far. Especially the food. ^___^
Ohyeah.... and friends too....
Even though I have reverted back to my old lifestyle, strangely things don't feel the same as they used to be. I think the overseas experience, no matter how short it was, greatly changed my perception of everything around me. I'm really grateful for that.
It's 6am here, and I can't sleep (damn jet lag) so what better way to spend your day than to update this site eh? Hee hee. Anyway, my last week in England had been really fun. Managed to cram in some meet-up activities with friends (in between the hectic packing and other cumbersome stuff that needed to be sorted out), so I thought I'd share some memorable photos with you all. :) Let this page be turned into a photo blog!
Eid Celebration!
Last Monday we had Eid. It's basically a celebration after a month of fasting. I don't really care about the religious aspect. What matters to me though, is that we get to eat tons of food. ^___^
Went to London to meet up with my cousins Suraya and Zana. Look how awesome we are in our traditional clothes! \(^o^)/ (actually I'm semi-traditional coz I don't like wearing the whole piece... bleh)
We went to some big shot Malay guy's open house (it's open to all Malaysians. I don't know whose house it was. I just came for the food). They had a nice selection of Malay dishes. Although I think I only had a plateful. Don't know why I didn't eat more. :<

As fun as it was in London, I had to come back to Portsmouth the same day as there are still so many things to settle. The next day I decided to go to Eldon to see my lecturers for the last time.

Met up with what's left of the animation people who were still in Portsmouth. Only Simon and Sam? Ohh our numbers are getting small. T__T

Sam tried so hard to squeeze us and our foods in the same pic, alas only 1/5th of the plates are seen. Oh well, A+ for effort!

Had lunch with my Malay friends at the Italian restaurant in Gunwarf.
I like that golden yellow-ish bottle. Don't know what that was. But it looks cool (and taste good with pizza!)
Really great food. I couldn't finish everything coz I was too full. T__T

Final days before Heathrow.
So Portsmouth is behind now, and my flight is nearing even closer. I decided to spend my remaining days with my relatives again in London.

Looks like the time has come. Bags are packed. Only thing left to do is to leave the house.

Updates? YES we have updates!
- Added 4 original works and 1 life drawing in the gallery!
- Gallery format is tweaked. No more sloppy big pictures. Everything looks clean!
- Added a [previous] and [next] button in the gallery! Easy navigation ahoy!
Yeah the gallery certainly went for a much-needed face lift. It's not perfect, but I'm pretty happy with how it is now.
Also, I'm gonna have to announce some terrible news. I hope you'll bear with me with this one.....
My tablet is busted.
No sketch of the day for now. :'(

On a side note, my friend Mark has informed me that my old Colour Clash animation has sucked 260gb worth of bandwidth from his website. That's a whopping 13,000 downloads! Holy moly. I think that is pretty scary..... this... internet.
Well.... if I've gotten THAT much exposure, it won't be long till the endless stream of job offers come rolling in, eh? Hohoho I shall welcome all in open arms!! Bring it on!!
